Leigh has worn many hats during her impressive television career including: advertorial host & presenter, fashion & current affairs reporter, co-host for a local morning magazine program, Queensland presenter for National Morning program, just to name a few…

Leigh’s career began on Channel 9’s National Children’s Show “Happy-Go-Round”, which was hosted by Jacki Macdonald, Simon Gallaher and Kiri Adams. This was an educational program that involved presenting, singing and dancing.

Leigh has worked on several television programs including: Channel 10’s “Living” program, Channel 9 “Ernie & Denise” and “Extra” and she is now regularly flying to Sydney to present National advertorials on the morning programs across all networks.

Leigh’s background also includes event management and publicity. In 1993, Leigh headed up the first major Bridal Expo in Brisbane at the RNA showgrounds. Later, Leigh and her team moved to the Brisbane Convention Centre. Leigh sold this expo to Queensland Brides Magazines and this expo is still going strong today.

Leigh is now actively working as a full time compere, eg. fashion parades, awards nights, corporate events and product launches.

Anyone who has met Leigh will know that she loves a chat, and she is right at home behind a microphone.

‘Variety’ is what Leigh enjoys and that is exactly what her work offers. With two teenage children to keep her feet firmly on the ground – Leigh loves the balance of family and work.
